David Tsao

David Tsao is the VP Security Engineering at Marqeta, Inc. He is the former Head of InfoSec and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at BYTON, an electric vehicle company that designs cars as a fully connected smart device on wheels. Prior to joining BYTON, David was the Global Information Security Officer (CISO) at Veeva Systems, and was responsible for the overall security of Veeva’s cloud-based products and corporate IT ecosystem. David also spent 12 years at Gilead Sciences, where he established and led their enterprise-wide information security and privacy programs.
