The ISSA vCISO SIG will be hosting their next meeting on Thursday, June 4th from 1PM – 3PM ET. The first hour will feature our speaker, Secure Control Framework (SCF) Founder & Contributor. In this session, Tom will be leading a discussion around the “Frameworks Used to Manage Clients”. If you are a vCISO, or working towards that role, be sure to attend and learn more! The event is live, private and not recorded to maintain privacy and open discussion. Be sure to block the time in your calendar.
The second hour will be for general discussion and SIG member support.
The Zoom meeting details will be sent to members of the vCISO SIG via the Message Center in the ISSA Member Portal. For almost 40 years, split nearly evenly between Information Security and Information Technology, David has been managing information including custom software development, systems management, and information security. As a former Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Stakeholder Centered Executive Coach, David brings a holistic, highly integrated, and disciplined view of information management.
He honed his craft at a nonprofit, in the corporate realm, at a university, and as a consultant. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ and excels at bringing these disparate disciplines together into a coherent and efficient practice for his clients. David has also co-authored The New IQ, a book about how to better communicate effectively.

In his free time, apparently between Midnight and 5AM, Robert enjoys playing on heavy equipment (his wife refers to them as toys) at his ranch in Texas.
