In 1992, Ms. Daniel founded IMRI to provide technical consulting services supporting southern California. Under her leadership, IMRI has grown significantly and has successfully delivered more than $300 million in information technology, engineering and cybersecurity engagements operating in 13 states and internationally. IMRI supports federal, public and private sector clients including Executive Office of the President, U. S. Congressional Budget Office; Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U. S. Navy, U. S. Army, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Undersecretary of Defense (DOD), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the U. S. Intelligence Community, and numerous Fortune 500 companies. IMRI is noted as a highly skilled, results-oriented organization, and is also distinguished by its status as a service-disabled veteran (U.S. Navy), woman-owned, small disadvantaged business.

After 12 years of intense cybersecurity experience, Ms. Daniel founded Cytellix, a wholly owned subsidiary of IMRI to develop a platform of cybersecurity services targeting Cybersecurity Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management solutions and services as a Managed Security Services Provider(MSSP). Cytellix provides a comprehensive suite of cyber security solutions that identify, control and audit critical cyber assets enabling clients to reduce infrastructure and operational risks; and improve their organization’s cybersecurity compliance, threat and risk postures.

A published author and frequent speaker, Ms. Daniel co-authored two books entitled, On the Other Side of Midnight 2000, An Executive Guide to the Year 2000 Problem; Million Dollar Conversations and recently featured in the book entitled, Women In Security, authored by Debra Christofferson. She recently participated as a study group member for the Presidential National Infrastructure Advisory Council’s (NIAC) Water Sector Resilience Final Report and Recommendations. She has been quoted as an industry spokesperson for a variety of publications and was honored by the Whitehouse in 2014 under President Barak Obama and as one of 10 Women Veteran Champions of Change. Other notable awards: 2020 Orange County Business Journal Family Owned Business Award; 2020 and 2019 Top Woman Owned Business in OC; 2018 Top 100 Most Influential People in OC; 2018 Induction Hall of Fame for African American Owned Businesses by City National Bank and Hart Foundation; 2016 and 2000 SBA – Small Business of the Year; and IMRI/Cytellix have received numerous technology innovation awards including the 2018,2019,2020 Stevie Award for most innovative cybersecurity technology.

Ms. Daniel graduated with honors earning her bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and her master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne. She is an ordained Minister at Christ Our Redeemer African Methodist Episcopal Church, Irvine, CA.; Board Trustee – University of LaVerne; Chairperson of Board Development Committee of Orange County United Way; Member of Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Board of Directors; Board Member Octane; and a member of the Trusteeship – Los Angeles Chapter of International Women Forum (IWF).
