Lorraine Frost – CEO, Frost Technology Solutions

Mrs. Lorraine M. Frost, MA, PMP, CSM, CISM, a native Californian, has thirty-eight (38) years of experience in information technology, with twenty-eight (28) years at the management level. She earned her BA and MA in Psychology, in addition to, earning her BS in Computer Science at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB).

After completing her Master’s degree, Mrs. Frost began her career in Information Technology at CSUSB. She retired after 33 years of employment, beginning as a programmer and eventually accepting responsibilities as the Interim Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the entire Information Resources and Technology division. She is an ardent supporter of student scholarships. Mrs. Frost currently freelances as a Cybersecurity Consultant after she departed from Mount Saint Mary’s University as the Chief Information Officer in 2018.

Her areas of responsibility included academic computing, administrative computing, telecommunications, networking, information security, technology infrastructure, mobile applications, web services, ADA compliance, identity management, virtual environments, cloud strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity. She has extensive knowledge in programming, systems development, project management, cybersecurity, and contract negotiations.

Mrs. Frost is affiliated with several professional organizations (PMI, ISACA, ISSA), and holds three credentials: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). She sits on the Board of Directors of the ISSA Education Foundation which provides student scholarships for aspiring Cyber Security Professionals. In 2009, she graduated from the Educause Frye Leadership Institute. She was also recognized in 2012 as the Outstanding Leader of the Year in Security Industry by Info Security Products Guide, as well as, a Women of Distinction from the 63rd State Assembly District in California. Mrs. Frost is a member of the PMI Inland Empire Chapter, ISACA Los Angeles Chapter, and both the Inland Empire and Los Angeles Chapters of ISSA.

Nikki Hendricks – Cybersecurity Education Specialist, TACC - UT Austin

Nikki Hendricks is a high school Computer Science teacher at Lake Travis ISD in Austin, Texas and a student studying Cyber Security and Information Assurance at Western Governors University.  She is currently in the sophomore year of this program, and has received my ITILv3 Foundations Certification, the CompTIA A+ certification and will be testing for the CompTIA Network+ certification on June 20, 2020.  Her passion for technology and passion for learning has always been a part of her life.  From librarian to educator to once again, student, her life has revolved around the use of computers, how they work, and now –Cyber Security.  Nikki, currently teaches AP Computer Science Principles and will be teaching the first ever Cyber security classes next year at Lake Travis High School.  Her studies in cyber security provide her with the knowledge and the skills to teach the next generation of cyber security enthusiasts.  She is the coach for the AFA Cyber Patriot teams, Girls Go CyberStart, and pico CTF.  She has also presented AFA Cyber Generation workshops for Senior Citizens at our local library.
