Overview

In our presentation, we’ll compare the European Union’s GDPR with Caribbean data privacy laws, highlighting how both aim to protect personal data but differ in scope, compliance, and enforcement. We’ll discuss the unique challenges Caribbean businesses face in meeting GDPR standards, due to different regulatory environments and penalties. The focus will be on how these differences present opportunities for the Caribbean to strengthen its data privacy frameworks, fostering trust and enabling international partnerships in a data-centric world.
