
Bill is currently an Insider Threat Analyst at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory where he’s been for 25 years.  Bill holds an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from Drexel University and a Master’s in Information Assurance from Norwich University. Bill also holds the CISSP, CEH, GSNA, GPEN, GCFA, GCFE and GNFA certifications. Bill’s contributions to the ISSA Central Maryland chapter have included volunteering on the training committee and serving as a past chapter Treasurer and current President.  In particular, he’s helped streamline the chapter’s financial operations, oversaw a significant number of changes and clarifications to the chapter bylaws that have taken effect over the years and been heavily involved in the chapter’s efforts to support student chapters and promote the STEM field. In 2020, Bill was recognized as an ISSA Distinguished Fellow.  Bill is a member of both the IEEE and Infragard and a lifetime member of the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.  Outside his career / ISSA involvement, Bill enjoys spending time with his family and partaking in activities such as archery, chess and playing guitar.
