
Grzegorz Cenkier is a contract lecturer in postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. He has accumulated considerable expertise in the field of information technology throughout the course of his thirty-year professional career. He holds a degree from the University of Warsaw and pursued further studies at the Cracow University of Economics. Following the completion of his studies, he took the opportunity to work at several highly regarded institutions, including the Warsaw University of Technology and the Institute of Computer Science at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He has also gained invaluable experience in financial institutions and within the international UN system. He is a regular contributor to professional journals. He has delivered presentations at numerous scientific conferences in Poland, Europe and the United States. He is also involved in a number of European Union projects. He is a highly valued member of the ISO/TC307 and CEN/CENELEC working groups on blockchain technology. He is also a member of the CEN/CENELEC Steering Group on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and represents PKN Technical Committee 333 on blockchain technology and distributed ledger. He is a SEEBLOCKS.eu expert, a member of the Polish Information Technology Association (PTI) Chamber of Experts, a member of the ISSA Poland board, and a member of the ISSA International Awards Committee. He is also certified as an ISO/IEC 27001, 27002 and 27006 auditor.
