Effective June 2, 2015, Ira Winkler stepped down as president of the Information Systems Security Association International Board of Directors.

Ira Winkler’s many exploits have reached the covers of major newspapers and magazines, and his opinions and analyses of cybersecurity issues have been globally sought.

A true cybersecurity luminary, Ira has been involved with ISSA for almost 20 years. As a board member and president, he used his stature in the industry to raise the awareness of ISSA.

The International Board of Directors is certain to express the gratitude of the whole of ISSA in thanking Ira for his service to the organization and wishes him the best.

In conjunction with ISSA Bylaws, the Board of Directors has appointed Vice President Andrea Hoy as president of ISSA International, effective immediately.
