Overview
Juliet “Jules” Okafor, will describe her professional journey and offer perspectives for workplace leadership and career innovation, while recounting adventures along the way, as she navigated life beyond graduate school. Jules will share details regarding her post-graduate journeys and current positions, and where she the current focus of our fields of security and privacy. She will talk about career innovation for you and your staff, in challenging economic conditions, work-life balance, diversity in the workplace, and strategies for professional growth.

Michelle Duquette – Cyber Security Advisor, Battelle
Michelle Duquette is a Cybersecurity Advisor who has supported Government, military and Fortune 500 companies. Through her career, Michelle has advised on implementation and effectiveness of information security programs, Cybersecurity policy management, and has been a part of integrated product teams, providing information risk management and security implementation recommendations. Michelle Duquette currently works with Battelle as a Senior Research Scientist, previously as a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, and a Software Engineer with Lockheed Martin. Michelle holds a M.S. Computer Science from the George Washington University, and a B.S. in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University. In addition, Michelle is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Jules is a senior executive with proven business, sales and legal experience. 15-year track record building sales operations, managing P&L, growing small to midsize businesses, and building and leading executive teams.
She has extensive experience developing security strategy, designing security awareness and training programs for Global 2000 and Fortune 1000 enterprises, implementing cyber risk analytics and security process optimization initiatives, leading pre- and post-engagement delivery to ensure customer success, leading dynamic operations /emerging technology initiatives, and creating new human-enabled security awareness and training programs designed to reduce most critical threats to business.
Dr. Okafor holds an M.A. in public communication and media studies, and received her J.D. from Beasley School of Law at Temple University. Jules has built a career by leading executive teams in developing cybersecurity solutions, where she has exemplified innovative leadership at every step of the way. She is currently the CEO of RevolutionCyber.
