9:00 AM to 9:15 AM | Welcome |
|
9:15 AM to 10:00 AM | Breakfast – The rise and fall of email securityBusiness email compromise (BEC) is the number one threat organisations face today – it’s a $2.4bn (£1.9bn) problem and is highly lucrative for attackers. The attacks themselves aren’t difficult to execute, but traditional email security controls still can’t detect them because of their targeted and novel nature. As with most things in cybersecurity, the attackers are always working to be one step ahead. They’re constantly moving, adapting, and trying to evade the defences we put in place. One of the reasons it’s so critical for us to adopt new ways to manage email security in 2023 is that we are at a turning point for both the tooling and the techniques used by attackers. |

10:00 AM to 10:45 AM | Hacking Your Brain for Better CybersecurityThe first step in your journey towards becoming secure is believing that you can be successful. Many of us are conditioned to believe we need to be cynical in order to be secure. In George's award-winning book, Well Aware, he demonstrates that the opposite is true...we can hack our own brain's "habit loop" to make being more secure easy. George will provide a roadmap on how to use the science behind habits that can help make security possible for anyone. |

10:45 AM to 11:00 AM | Break |
|
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM | Panel: Launching an AI Governance ProgramDespite its benefits, AI can present a number of legal and ethical risks, and companies that are providing AI services — or considering implementing AI in any capacity — should be mindful and intentional about AI governance. Join us as we discuss the what, the why and the how for launching an AI Governance program. We will discuss the benefits of generative AI and ways to enable the business while addressing AI challenges and potential risks. And yes, enabling the business means using it in Cybersecurity, too. Where to start? We will discuss steps and strategies you can implement. This is not a one-size-fits-all effort. Similar to other governance programs, such as privacy and information security, it is critical to understand how your company intends to leverage AI throughout the organization. Attendees will learn best practices and steps to create or tailor your governance program to include AI and how to include AI due diligence and oversight for your vendors. |
