Patricia Titus

Patricia Titus has served as recent Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Freddie Mac in McLean, VA, chartered with the protection and integrity of Freddie Mac’s information assets while enabling world-class information access. Ms. Titus is a former VP and CISO at Symantec, responsible for IT information security risk management, threat response and governance functions. She played a strategic role in protecting Symantec’s IT resources, infrastructure and information assets, and driving internal security initiatives. Earlier, Patricia served as VP and CISO for Unisys Corporation and is former CISoOat the Transportation Security Administration within the Department of Homeland Security. Ms. Titus worked overseas in roles within the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. State Department and other private sector firms.

Patricia serves on the Board of Directors for Cyber United. She is working with the Ponemon Institute on the Visual Privacy Advisory Council focusing on Visual Hacking. She serves on the Editorial Board for InfoSecurity Magazine, and the Board of Advisors for the Executive Women’s Forum (EWF). Patricia was profiled in the fall SCMagazine edition dedicated to Women in IT Security, and has been recognized for her influence and support of women in the IT field.
