Dr. Berlin is a successful cybersecurity education entrepreneur building institutions and programs to prepare adult learners to rapidly enter and advance in high-tech sectors. He established the University of the Potomac, the University of Fairfax (an online cybersecurity graduate university), The Cloud Security Risk Management certification (the first hands-on cybersecurity risk management certification), and the National Institute for Cybersecurity Certifications. Cybersecurity graduates from his institutions and programs have acquired NIST Risk Management Framework/FedRAMP/CMMS competencies and have achieved 90%+ placement rates with $100K+ compensation.

Betty currently serves on the ISSA International Board of Directors and is a past President of the MN-ISSA chapter.  Betty has over twenty years’ experience in Information Technology and Information Security in positions of progressive responsibility and technical expertise. She has worked on information security planning, developing and delivering security programs. She is respected as a decision-maker and creative problem solver with demonstrated ability to achieve desired results while maintaining effective team cooperation. She has worked with several security regulations and standards including HIPAA, ISO17799, COBIT, Payment Card Industry Standard, NIST Standards and IRS Publication 1075. Betty is CISSP and CISA certified.

Mary Ann Davidson – CSO, Oracle Corporation
Mary Ann is very recognized in the industry for many achievements inside and outside her CSO role. Mary Ann also serves the ISSA International Board of Directors and an ISSA Fellow and Hall of Fame recipient. She’s a Navy Veteran who followed her father. Mary Ann surfs in her spare time, and she’s also a published author in a fictional IT murder-mystery series she writes with her sister.

Chrisan Herrod – Director, IT Risk and Compliance, Skillsoft
Dr. Herrod has over 25 years of experience in risk management, compliance, governance, strategy and executive leadership for the securities regulation, intel, healthcare and financial services sectors. She worked as a senior executive for the Department of Defense, for the Securities and Exchange Commission, Fannie Mae, and the University of Maryland. She was Cybersecurity Department Chair and Professor at the Department of Defense’s National Defense University in Washington D.C and served on the faculties of George Washington University, and Norwich University.
Chrisan retired as a Major from the U.S. Military after serving 22 years in both Army and Air Force Intelligence agencies. She received her Doctor of Education from Northcentral University in July 2018 and specializes in adult online education.
