Margot Romary has over 20 years of experience in security, privacy, and Internet abuse prevention. She is the Head of Information Security at Ibotta, a consumer cash-back rewards company, where her team is responsible for protecting more than 35 million US-based consumers, as well as the company’s employees and systems. Prior to joining Ibotta, Margot looked after security, privacy, and data compliance at Validity, Inc, before which she lead consumer-facing, anti-abuse initiatives at AOL for nearly a decade. Margot holds a BA from Cornell University, and an MS from the University of Virginia.
