Mark Valdez

Mark Valdez is currently the founder of Eads Bridge Ventures, an early stage investment and advisory firm. Most recently, Mark was part of the founding team at Playground Global where he was responsible for leading the firm’s venture investment efforts. Prior to joining Playground, Mark was a co-founder of A Capital, a venture capital firm focused on early stage consumer and enterprise technology companies. Previously, Mark was Marc Andreessen’s chief of staff at Andreessen Horowitz and was a member of the investment team at Stanford Management Company, the university’s investment management arm.  Mark has served on the Board of Directors for Branch Metrics, Inscopix, Righthand Robotics, and Super Heroic. He holds an undergraduate degree from Duke University, an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and is a CFA Charterholder.
