International Board Slate Announced

ISSA members will be electing an International President and five directors to two-year terms in June. The election will be conducted online between June 1 and 30.

The following nominations were made by chapters and sitting members of the International Board of Directors. The Elections Committee, chaired by William Tompkins, Capitol of Texas Chapter, has reviewed the nominations to ensure they are complete and certified that all candidates are active members in good standing.

Candy Alexander, New England and New Hampshire Chapters, will present the Chapter Corporate Sponsorship Program Guide she created, which includes information on how to get started, ideas for benefits, where to find sponsors, sample policies and methods for retention and renewal.

Roy Wilkinson, Past President of Metro Atlanta, will highlight the chapter's Metro Atlanta Information Security Conference.

Bill Danigelis, Past President of Silicon Valley and member of the ISSA International Board of Directors, will talk about organizing the chapter's successful golf tournament.

RSA Conference Drawing Winners

It was wonderful to meet and talk with so many of you at the RSA Conference in San Francisco last week. Thank you to all who visited the ISSA booth and entered the drawings.

Two current and three new members won a year's membership. Kathleen Donaho-Jaeger, Manager of Information Security Innovation and Technology for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, will receive a 12-month extension. Pravat Mishra of Ezmcom will join the Silicon Valley Chapter. Notification is pending for the three remaining winners.
